My Network

“My Network” portal of Vodafone Idea Limited (“Vodafone Idea”) allows all consumers to access information pertaining to the Idea tower positioning, Idea stores and/ or Idea network coverage (voice and data both) (“Information”) as per search requirements of consumers along with dedicated contact number to resolve any customer queries and self-trouble shooting facility (“Facility”)
Consumers may access the My Network portal either by logging on to the Idea webpage (https://mynetwork.ideacellular.com) or via Idea mobile application (My Idea App)
Consumer must have active internet connection to access the Information /Facility of “My Network” portal
“My Network” portal runs on the functionality of Goggle Maps. Consumer understands that in case Google Maps functionality is down/non-operational, My Network portal will not work.
Consumer will not be charged to avail the Information or any Facility of “My Network” portal
The indicated coverage and quality parameters being displayed are predicted coverage based on outdoor estimations. Actual coverage experience may vary depending on the transmission limitations caused by topographical, geographical, atmospheric, hydrological and other mechanical conditions including technical failures, upgradation or variation, re-location of network systems.
The resolution provided by self-trouble shooting Facility of “My Network” portal does not guarantee resolution of problem. It provides certain basic tips or standard settings to overcome the problem.
Information on the portal in terms of coverage maps, tower and store positioning is not real time and is updated on a monthly basis.
In the event a consumer suggests a site for tower installation via the My Network portal for required sites, Idea shall assess the veracity of same subject to established principles of acceptability and approval of requisite statutory authorities, permissions from the landlord, housing societies etc and other feasibilities.
The classification of coverage into Excellent, Good, Moderate and No coverage is based on prediction models of Idea as below –
- Excellent Coverage – Very good indoor and excellent outdoor voice and data service experience indicated in color.
- Good Coverage – A good quality outdoor voice & data experience indicated in color. While in indoor, there may be variations in voice & data quality depending on the infrastructure (building etc.) density in an area.
- Moderate Coverage – Intermittent voice & data quality issues especially in deep indoor scenarios in an area with dense construction indicated in color.
- No Coverage – Voice and data service not available or very limited service available indicated in color.
These terms and conditions shall constitute an agreement between Idea and each consumer accessing the My Network portal and by logging on the My Network portal to enjoy the benefits of the available Information/Facility, you accept the same as binding upon you.
Idea will be entitled to modify, postpone, restrict, suspend, or cancel the availability of access to Information/Facility via the My Network portal or any aspect thereof, across the entire territories of service or any part thereof, at any time with or without notice, for any reason, including, but not limited to, acts of God, force majeure, technical difficulties, government orders or directions etc. prohibiting or suspending such services or any other reasons beyond Idea’s reasonable control.
Availability of My Network portal and access to Information/ Facility provided by Idea in this manner is a matter of goodwill gesture. Idea will not be liable to any consumer or any party for any inability to access the My Network portal or for delay or lack of Information/ Facility due to any reason, directly or indirectly, pertaining to the My Network portal or any part thereof.
Any dispute or claim (contractual or non-contractual) arising out of or in relation to these terms and conditions, including disputes as to its formation, will be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian laws and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Mumbai.
The word “tower” used in these terms & conditions shall mean a unique physical site /location identity which includes multiple technology base station (2G, 3G, 4G, in-building solutions and small cells).
